Through the University of Delaware electronic postcard service, users can browse the virtual postcard rack to select and send a postcard to family and friends. The user can customize their postcard with a personal message and interactive features including music and video. When the postcard is sent, both the sender and the recipient get an e-mail with a link to check out their online postcard. UD Postcards was developed to promote campus outreach; however, it has also become a fun way for University administrators, student groups, and visitors to send announcements.
