The 1998 version of the UD Viewbook was translated into an online format, replacing an earlier online viewbook. The Viewbook is targeted to prospective students, parents, and visitors, and provides an overview of life at the University of Delaware. The online Viewbook also fills several gaps in UD's web content: it provides visitors' information, campus tour times, details on special events for visitors, directions to campus, a list of lodging available in the Newark area, application information and instructions, current tuition and living costs, and financial aid and scholarship information. These resources may be linked to from any UD department or program website, eliminating the need to re-present the same information on different sites.
